2024 WORKPLACE GENDER EQUALITY INDEX
Since its inception, LEMAIRE has defended gender equality and fostered diversity in the workplace. Led by Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, the company currently employs a staff of 120 individuals chosen for their talent and shared passion for meticulously crafted clothing. Each collection is developed and released through their efforts.
Women make up 70% of the staff and hold 67% of management positions at LEMAIRE, whose salary structure is designed to reward dedication and performance, irrespective of gender.
LEMAIRE’s 2024 workplace gender equality index results are presented below. The index evaluates the level of gender equality at the company on a scale of 100 points, based on a set of criteria assessed using 2023 figures.

This score reflects LEMAIRE’s steadfast commitment to equality and demonstrated efforts to ensure an inclusive, equitable workplace for all. The average equality index score in France for the year is 88 out of 100.
Indicator 1 – Gender pay gap
LEMAIRE score: 39/40
The salary gap at LEMAIRE favors women – the result of a compensation policy that recognizes the value of their work. According to the national statistics office and Observatoire des inégalités, a think tank on inequality, women in France are paid 4.3% less than men for equivalent work and hours.
